TITLE: Driver

REPORTS TO: Program Director

WORK AREA: Day Treatment Center, SLC, Utah and the Salt Lake valley.

 

SUMMARY: PATH Behavioral Health’s Adolescent youth treatment program is looking to add one or more drivers to our team. Utilizing our 14-seater vans you will transport our clients, at-risk youth, to and from our Day Treatment Center. Our ideal candidate has experience working with youth, has a clean driving record and is attentive to managing his or her own schedule. Though the pick and drop-off routes are set to morning and afternoon, we are flexible about which and how many of them you wish to take on.

Pay rate: $17-$21 hourly

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES: Drive at-risk youth to and from our Adolescent Day Treatment Center.  Commit to between 1 and 10 regular morning and/or afternoon routes. Each route is about 2 hours long; from 7-9am and 3-5pm.

  • Maintain schedule of morning and/or afternoon pick-up(s)
  • Follow relevant safety regulations and state laws governing vehicle operation, and ensure that passengers follow safety regulations
  • Maintain knowledge of First Aid procedures
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance, such as regulating tire pressure and adding gas, oil, water as needed. 
  • Report any vehicle malfunctions or needed repairs.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Highschool or equivalent preferred

Experience/Skills

• Active Driver’s license in good standing

• At least 3 years of driving experience

•Clean Driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.  No criminal speeding, reckless driving or DUI/DWI citations.

•Experience working with youth a plus – we will provide all appropriate and required trainings for working with clients

Interpersonal Skills: The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to interact and assist in a friendly, compassionate, and professional manner with colleagues and clients, as they represent both themselves and Path Behavioral Healthcare.

 

Background: The candidate must pass all federal and state background checks, and their educational and work history will be confirmed in compliance with company policies.
