TITLE: Behavior Manager
RESPONSIBLE TO: Behavior Manager Supervisor
WORK AREA: Day treatment clinic, in person.
HOURLY RATE: $15-$20 based on experience.
SUMMARY: PATH Behavioral Health’s Adolescent Day Treatment program is looking for
a new Behavior Manager to join our team! We work with at risk youth with a wide
verity of mental health struggles in both day treatment (9am-3pm) and IOP (4pm6pm) settings. We are looking for someone who is interested in working directly with
our clients in developing new skills, exploring new experiences, and moving along
their mental health journey. We offer training and supervision, along with regular
behavior manager meetings and weekly burnout support meetings. So, if you have

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Supporting individual clients in building appropriate life skills
2. Working closely with the clinical team in creating individual support plans
3. Facilitate and assist with skills groups.
4. Opportunities for In-home sessions with client and client family
5. Ensure documentation occurs according to policy and Path Integrated
Health standards of practice and all applicable compliance standards
6. Attend Supervisory and Team meetings and present behavior management
reports that accurately represent services provided and client’s response to
treatment.
7. Serve on agency quality assurance or other committees as assigned.
Coordination of the Individual Support Plan, (ISP), including:
1. Services identified in the ISP
2. Coordination with formal community services and systems
3. System monitoring
4. Coordination and assistance in crisis management and stabilization
5. Client advocacy and outreach
6. Seek education and training specific to the care of clients, provide client
educational support.
7. Mental Health interventions that address symptoms, behaviors, thought
processes, etc., to assist clients in eliminating barriers to seeking or
maintaining education and family support.
8. Activities that increase that client’s capacity to positively impact their
environment.
9. Assistance with accessing natural support systems in the community
10.Assume additional duties as assigned by Behavior Manager Supervisor or
Director.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree is
preferred.
Experience: This is an entry level position; experience is a plus.
Physical Effort: This position requires the ability to work under stressful conditions
and to work irregular hours.
Communication Skills: Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written
communication skills in order to communicate professionally via telephone and in
writing. Strong grammar and writing skills are crucial for clear and concise
communication with clients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
Interpersonal Skills: The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to
interact and assist in a friendly, compassionate, and professional manner with
colleagues, providers, clients, and their families, as they represent both themselves
and Path Behavioral Healthcare.
Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Candidates must achieve competency in the
Electronic Health Record (EHR) program, telehealth services, and any additional
software programs utilized by the company, ensuring efficient access and updating of
client information. The role requires fine dexterity, adept handling, and proficient
gripping abilities to perform various tasks.
Background: The candidate must pass all federal and state background checks, and
their educational and work history will be confirmed in compliance with company
policies.
