Education Coordinator

Compensation: $17-$25 hourly based on experience

Job Summary:

The Education Coordinator is responsible for creating and implementing educational programs that align with the adolescent day-treatment clients’ individual needs. The Education Coordinator works with clinical staff and each client’s school support network to design, develop, and deliver curriculum, materials, and resources that are relevant to their educational and psychoeducational needs. The Education Coordinator also evaluates the effectiveness and impact of the educational programs and reports on the progress and outcomes to the team, caregivers, and their school network.

Responsibilities:

· Plan, organize, and execute educational programs that support the goals and objectives of each client.

· Collaborate and communicate with staff, caregivers, and school network to identify needs, opportunities, and challenges for each client.

· Stay updated on the latest research, trends, and developments in the field of education

· Develop and implement individualized education plans with each client.

· Support education needs of clients in both group and individual settings.

· Support regular therapeutic groups in a team setting

· Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, behavior managers, and administrators to best serve each client.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, special ed, or equivalent relevant experience.

· Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Ability to work with diverse populations and in various settings

· Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as online education systems.

· Willingness to learn documentation through an Electronic Health Record system

Background:· The candidate must pass all federal and state background checks, drug tests, TB, and their educational and work history will be confirmed incompliance with company policies.
